12 Tester.Store ("we", "us", "our") operates the website https://12tester.store and the 12 Tester.Store mobile application (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Our Service connects Android app developers with real testers so they can complete Google Play's closed-testing requirement (12 testers for 14 days).

1. Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
Google (Gmail) tester address: if you act as a tester, the Google account you use on Google Play. We verify it with a one-time code. Developers add this address to their closed test on Google Play so you can be granted access.
App submissions: if you submit an app, the app title, package name, icon, testing instructions, Google Play opt-in link, Google Group link, and the feedback email or URL you provide.
Activity data: tests you join, daily check-ins, feedback status, and messages you exchange with other users through the Service.
Payment information: when you buy credits, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card number — we only store a record of the transaction (amount, plan, and a Stripe reference).
Device tokens: if you enable notifications, a push token from Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver alerts.
Technical data: basic log data such as IP address and device/browser type, used for security and to operate the Service.

2. How we use your information

To create and manage your account and provide the Service.
To connect developers with testers and track testing progress.
To verify your tester email and share verified tester addresses with the developer whose test you join (see below).
To process credit purchases and prevent fraud.
To send you transactional emails (verification, password reset) and, if enabled, push notifications.
To moderate submissions and enforce our terms.

Important — sharing tester emails: the core purpose of the Service is to help developers add testers to their Google Play closed test. When you join a test as a tester, your verified Google (Gmail) address is made available to that app's developer so they can add you to their tester list on Google Play. Only join tests you are comfortable sharing this address with.

3. Third-party services

We use trusted third parties that process data on our behalf:

Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Supabase — "Continue with Google" sign-in in the mobile app.
Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notifications.
Google Play — the testing program your tester address is used for.
Email/hosting provider — to send emails and host the Service.

4. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Contact). We may retain limited records where required for legal, security, or accounting reasons.

5. Security

Passwords are stored hashed, sensitive settings are encrypted, and data is transmitted over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

6. Your rights

You can access or update your profile in the app, and you can request that we correct or delete your personal data by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
